With almost 15 years of teaching experience, Patrick excels in ascertaining a student’s goals and finding the clearest path to realizing them. Every person learns best through different methods, and Patrick understands that he must find the best practice to reach that next musical level.
Patrick has taught private in-home lessons, as well as at 5 different lesson studios in the Chicago area. He also managed a location of Guitar Center Lessons for over two years, so he understands the importance of creating a healthy and friendly environment for students of all levels, personalities, and backgrounds.
He studied Jazz Guitar Performance at Northern Illinois University, and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Music and New Media Technology, graduating magna cum laude. It is this unique combination that allows him to focus on the proficiency of the instrument, as well as encouraging the creation of music to express oneself.
With a love of all genres of music, Patrick can teach any style of music, including Jazz, Rock, Metal, Funk, Bossa Nova, Blues, Acoustic, and many more. He also is experienced in recording and music production, and can incorporate those elements as well.
